Daniel Methuselah, DPM
Dr. Daniel Methuselah holds a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree and is a physician and surgeon of the foot and ankle. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and specializes in reconstructive foot surgery.

Dr. Methuselah has been consistently ranked in the top 1% of all physicians of all specialties in the United States since 2006. (according to Press-Ganey patient satisfaction surveys of all of his surgical patients.) 

Awards and Achievements:

1.  Awarded the "Best Podiatrist" in The State for the sixth time in 2023.

2.  Named to Columbia Metropolitan Magazine Premier Physician list for the fifth time in a row in 2023.

3.  Won "Best Podiatrist" by Irmo-Chapin Life Magazine for the fourth time in a row in 2024.

Currently, Dr. Methuselah serves as a paid surgical consultant for Treace Medical Concepts helping train other doctors in the Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction. 

He is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. where he majored in biology and psychology. He then went on to podiatric medical school in Chicago where he graduated from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

After graduation, Dr. Methuselah furthered his training by completing two residency programs. The first residency was at the world famous Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. There he had extensive training in podiatric surgery and additional training in infection management, limb salvage, trauma and elective foot surgery, as well as intensive training with a large diabetic population. He then completed a second residency at St. Mary Community Hospital in South Bend, IN. where he had further intensive training in adult and pediatric reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. Daniel Methuselah is one of a few surgeons who was personally trained in peripheral nerve decompression surgery by Lee Dellon, M.D., professor of neurosurgery at John Hopkins University School of Medicine. This highly technical microsurgical technique is used to help repair damaged nerves and to help restore balance and sensation to the feet.

Dr. Methuselah is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons as well as members of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association.

When not working, Dr. Dan enjoys spending time with his Pembroke Welsh Corgi and his semi-wild Savannah Cat. His interests including reading, fishing and anything car related.
